He quipped, “I have to improve; you can always improve…”
Then, regarding Neres’ goal last night: “He kicked quickly because he saw me come off, and then he scored. I thought I’d save it.”
The award comes after a very difficult season with three changes on the bench, but for Roma he has been a constant, with sensational saves that have secured the Giallorossi extra points.
Now he’s ready to become a key player under Gasperini as well: in Serie A this season, he’s conceded seven goals in 13 games.
