Roma goalkeeper Mile Svilar was interviewed a few days before the highly anticipated Derby della Capitale with Lazio.
“It’s always a crazy game, but I prefer it when we play at home. The packed stadium, the atmosphere… it’s something special. The derby is the game of the year, and the fans make it felt from Monday,” Svilar explained in an interview with CBS.
“During derby week, there’s a different atmosphere. The tension builds every day, and you can feel the adrenaline in the locker room. The fans stop you in the street, cheer you on, and transmit their passion.”
On Gasperini Svilar noted, “The sessions with him are incredibly intense, and his impact has been impressive. I’m convinced that all the hard work we’re putting in will yield results. Personally, I don’t care about conceding four goals a game as long as we win. The important thing is the team’s success.”
