Mile Svilar is eagerly awaiting his first full season as Roma’s undisputed first-choice goalkeeper.

The Serbian shot-stopper made his mark in the second half of last season under Daniele De Rossi, eventually benching veteran goalie Rui Patricio.

With Patricio gone, Roma now want to make Svilar their starting goal-keeper for years to come.

In recent days, reports have emerged stating that the club are finalizing a new contract for the 25-year-old goalkeeper.

In just over a week Mile Svilar will be able to wear the Roma kit with pride again, at least within the friendly walls of the Fulvio Bernardini Sports Center.

This is why number 99 decided to publish a selfie taken inside his car with Roma’s second shirt of the 2023-24 season clearly visible. An important sign of things to come.
