Monza coach Raffaele Palladino expressed his delight at facing close friend Daniele De Rossi on the sidelines in tonight’s Serie A fixture with Roma.
The Italian technician spoke to DAZN before the game and described the pair’s friendship.
“We are very good friends, we already were as footballers. He was a coach on the pitch, and he will do it at great levels because he puts his heart and passion into it”
“I’m very happy that he got this opportunity and he is making the most of it. There are great improvements in the team thanks to him. Roma are clearly playing better now. Today we will try to put him in difficulty because only for today we will not be friends.”
