Rodrigo Mora isn’t ready to slow down at the height of his powers.
The 2007-born player had a dream evening on Tuesday at the Stadio Olimpico.
Roma were held to a 2-2 draw by Cagliari, but with a header from Mora—a 168cm tall player—Roma regained the lead in the 85th minute before scoring four goals for the Rossoblu.
Mora was the star of the show, setting up Malen’s final goal.
The Roman club made a costly investment in the former Porto player this summer: €25 million upfront and the same amount next year, or the Dragons will be granted a 50% share of any future sale.
\Rodrigo Mora is already focused on the next match.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, there’s a high probability he’ll start in Udine, as the three-man midfielder setup doesn’t seem viable given the players’ fatigue.
In Roma’s 12 matches, Gasperini has started the 2007-born player 10 times, leaving him on the bench only against Inter and Como.
The former Porto player has played a total of 425 minutes, an average of 42.5 per game. Before the match against Cagliari, he scored against Lecce and then provided an important assist for Malen in the Champions League home game against Real Madrid. In Udine, the goal is to add to his list of key performances for Roma.
