Jorge Mendes – the superstar agent of Jose Mourinho, among others – discussed the Special One’s dismissal from the Italian capital.
In an interview with Portuguese portal Record, Mendes reflected on Mourinho’s exit from Roma and his rejection of several offers from Saudi Arabia last summer.
“He certainly needs no introduction. The titles he won speak for him, he is not just any coach. He is a special coach, he will always have his opportunities and will never have problems finding a new club for him,” said Mendes when asked about Mourinho’s uncertain future in Europe.
“Saudi Arabia? It’s true, Mourinho had the opportunity, a few months ago, to go to Saudi Arabia. He chose not to go because he wanted to remain in Italy and coach Roma instead,” he added.
