Napoli striker and former Roma man Romelu Lukaku is doubtful for the big match against Roma on 24 November.
The Belgian international was forced to make an anticipated return to Naples following a brief stint with the national team.
The reason for his exclusion from further training with the Red Devils is an apparent knee inflammation.
“He wanted to take the field at all costs against Italy, for us it was a final,” said Belgium NT coach Domenico Tedesco.
“Now however the chronic inflammation in his knee has returned, he had to have an infiltration and was not available for the match against Israel.”
“He will have to stay out for 3/4 days and will not even be able to train during this period of time.”
