Eleonora Trotta of calciomercato.it has reported that there has been fresh contact between Roma and Atletico Madrid striker Nikola Kalinic. With Patrik Schick nearing an exit from Roma, the Croatian is the favorite to replace the outgoing Czech attacker. Reportedly, Kalinic is likely to land in the Italian capital on loan with option to buy for a figure between €7-8 million. Giallorossi boss Paulo Fonseca has already given his OK to the deal as Roma remains the preferred destination of the former Viola striker.
