Roma fullback Nicola Zalewski was the victim of a home robbery on Thursday, according to a report from Ansa.
While attending training, thieves reportedly forced their way into the 21 year-old’s flat located in Rome’s EUR district. They entered through a French window and made off with several expensive watches and other pieces of jewelry—though, authorities still haven’t released a total value of the stolen items.
He becomes the latest victim in a string of robberies that have targeted Rome-based footballers. In October, thieves smashed a window and attempted to steal a lockbox from the home of Chris Smalling in the Tor Carbone area of the city.
Meanwhile, Lazio attacker Mattia Zaccagni and his, Chiara Nasti, had more than €80,000 worth of valuables stolen from their home earlier this year.
