Artem Dovbyk’s future continues to be a hot topic of discussion.

The Ukrainian striker, who arrived in the capital last summer from Girona, hasn’t convinced Gasperini and could leave Trigoria in the final days of the transfer window.

As reported recently, one possible destination was Villarreal.

However, according to Fabrizio Romano and Matteo Moretto, there’s no agreement on a deal formula between the two clubs.

Roma would like a permanent transfer, while the Villareal are insisting on a loan with an option to buy.

The player himself doesn’t seem convinced about his destination, though the possibility of him playing in the Premier League could soon arise as he’s been offered to Newcastle United.
