Matias Soulé seemed destined to leave Trigoria. Roma and Gian Piero Gasperini’s intention was to acquire a player of a significantly higher caliber than the Argentine, to boost their attacking quality.

However, so far, no offers have arrived from Trigoria, even in June, reports Il Tempo.

The possibility of the club’s plans changing cannot be ruled out. The number 18 is playing his cards right at Trigoria, and a permanent move is not out of the question.

If Roma fail to secure the player, there could only be one attacking winger on the market, with the second signing only possible on loan.

Roma’s attack could therefore remain with Soulé and Paulo Dybala at Gasperini’s disposal. The addition of at least one more player is guaranteed, but not the second signing requested by the Grugliasco-based coach. The Giallorossi are currently very close to signing Crysencio Summerville, and he could be the first to arrive at Trigoria.
