Roma have announced the temporary departure of Albanian defender Marash Kumbulla.
Following his brief loan at Sassuolo, Kumbulla is now headed to Spain where he will play for Espanyol.
“The club can confirm that Marash Kumbulla has joined Espanyol on loan for the 2024-25 season,” reads the club’s official announcement.
“In three seasons with Roma, the Albanian defender made 68 appearances and scored four goals.
