Roma have officially announced their change of schedule for the team’s training camp in England.
Following a withdrawal from their friendly with Coventry City, Roma announced a new friendly with a third division English club.
“Roma will now meet Barnsley in a friendly test behind closed doors on August 6 at the St George’s Park Football Centre,” reads the club statement.
“This will be Roma’s fifth pre-season match. Barnsley competes in the third tier of English football.
The Giallorossi were scheduled to meet Coventry City on the same date, according to the initial programme issued in recent days. However, only the opponent changes, not the date and time of the match.”
