Roma was ready to welcome Jayden Oosterwolde to Trigoria yesterday.

The Dutchman arrived in Rome this morning, landing at Ciampino Airport, with about 15-20 fans in attendance, via a flight from Amsterdam to begin his Giallorossi adventure.

However, some problems arose during his medical. As is known, the Fenerbahçe defender is struggling with an injury, and the Giallorossi are trying to get a clear picture before adding him to their squad.

Jayden Oosterwolde’s official announcement is taking a while to arrive.

As Radio Mana Mana reports, the player has undergone and passed his medical, but it appears he’s been diagnosed with a more serious injury than expected.

The injury could, in fact, require him to wait about two months before returning to the field. This is why Roma’s evaluation is taking so long.

The Roman club hasn’t yet made a final decision, with the strategies of the final days of the transfer window likely to revolve around this choice.
