Roma attacker Paulo Dybala is once again injured.

After going down early on in the first half of Roma-Fiorentina, Dybala underwent tests to assess the extent of his latest injury.

The results provided Roma with the worst answer possible: at least 3 weeks on the sidelines for the Argentine forward. Therefore, he is set to sit out Serie A fixtures with Bologna, Napoli and Juventus.

According to Il Tempo, it’s entirely possible that Dybala will only aim to return for the match against Atalanta in the first week of January.

The other possibility is to have the ex-Juve man try to recover in time for the Coppa Italia fixture with Cremonese on 3 January which would serve as a warm-up for the next two big games with Atalanta and Milan.
