Paulo Dybala set to miss Derby della Capitale

Bad news for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side following their latest defeat to Torino.

Paulo Dybala is sidelined again.

The tests he underwent today confirmed a low-grade tear in his left thigh, specifically in the posterior muscle.

The injury had been suspected since his substitution at halftime of the match against Torino.

The Argentine left the pitch at the end of the first half, complaining of a muscle strain. His condition immediately raised concerns, especially given his long spell with the Giallorossi.

Tests have now confirmed the diagnosis, which fortunately isn’t serious, but this type of injury requires at least a week or two of absence.

The Argentine will therefore miss Sunday’s derby and likely also his European match against Nice.
