The summer transfer window ended two days ago without Roma being able to strengthen their left flank, while in the final hours the club had to manage the situation surrounding Lorenzo Pellegrini.
The Giallorossi number 7, now certain not to renew his contract with the Roman club, will remain at Trigoria at least until January.
According to Fabrizio Romano, in the final hours of the transfer window Trabzonspor attempted to convince both Roma and Pellegrini, offering the player a salary close to his current one.
However, the Turkish club’s offer was rejected by the now former Giallorossi captain, who has chosen to remain in Italy until the next transfer window, continuing to wear the Giallorossi jersey for the upcoming matches.
