Cagliari coach Fabio Pisacane, after the 4-2 loss to Roma, analyzed his team’s defeat to DAZN.
On Cagliari’s performance and the defeat “Certainly, tonight, seeing the demands we want to make, seeing the attitude the team showed in the match, which must never be lacking, are two elements we must pack and take to Cagliari. I think coming here to put in a performance like that, as I told the boys, I want to lose matches, but I don’t want to lose them like this, without leaving Caprile in my arms. Sometimes, it was also the opponents who forced us to play a more submissive game.”
“I think the team achieved much more than they deserved in the first six games, but in the end, football balances out. They’re a young team, with few experienced players. The goal is to get everyone back and play the football we want to continue.”
“It’s normal in football, as you know better than I, that the winner is always the winner. We had a battleship up front that made things difficult for everyone, but I enjoyed the performance the team played, with great dignity, with the right attitude, and I’m convinced that as we grow like this, everything will turn around again.”
