Gian Piero Gasperini has been named Serie A Coach of the Month for October.
Before Roma vs. Udinese, the Giallorossi coach was honored on the sidelines.
The award was presented to him by Roma’s senior advisor, Claudio Ranieri.
A standing ovation was staged by the fans in honor of “Sir Claudio” at the award ceremony at the Olimpico.
The Testaccio-born coach, recognized by his fans for having come close to achieving this feat last season, leading the team from a disastrous situation to within a whisker of the Champions League.
