Rasmus Kristensen has been ruled out of action after going down with an injury in the match against Monza.
The Danish defender was unable to continue the match on Saturday and was replaced by Zeki Celik.
After a few days of rest, Roma had Kristensen undergo further tests to assess the injury.
According to Sky Sport, tests revealed damage to the thigh muscle which will prevent Kristensen from playing anytime soon.
In the meantime, Rick Karsdorp also continues to nurse a knee injury and is yet to return to group training.
