Eyeing an overhaul of the club’s senior management, Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis reportedly considering the appointment of former Roma executive Tiago Pinto.
According to Eleonora Trotta of calciomercato.it, the Partenopei are likely to part ways with current sporting Mauro Meluso following the team’s disastrous season.
The defending champions have gone thru three coaches and haven’t come close to replicating their success from last year’s Scudetto triumph. As a result, De Laurentiis is expected to revolutionise the club both on and off the pitch, with Meluso among the names likely to depart.
In his place, Napoli are mulling possible candidates, including Pinto. They’ve also expressed interest in another former Roma man: Ricky Massara.
