West Ham are reportedly edging closer to the signing of Tammy Abraham from Roma.

As confirmed by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, the English side have come forward and currently lead the race for the out-of-favor striker.

Di Marzio reports that the Hammers have submitted an offer that is close to Roma’s asking price.

An agreement between clubs is imminent.

However, at the moment West Ham are focusing on reaching an agreement with Abraham whose large salary poses an obstacle.

According to Di Marzio, talks are ongoing between Abraham’s agent and West Ham to find an agreement in the coming hours.
