Roma continues to move forward in the transfer market, focusing on potential offensive reinforcements to bring to Gasperini as soon as possible ahead of the second half of the season.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, in recent days, the Giallorossi management has made several exploratory calls to gauge the availability of Yannick Ferreira Carrasco, a Belgian winger currently playing for Al-Shabab in Saudi Arabia.

Carrasco, who boasts extensive international experience with major European clubs such as Atlético Madrid, has the ideal characteristics to fit into Gasperini’s attack.

With his ability to operate on both flanks, providing quality, runs, and goals, the Belgian winger represents a potential top-tier offensive alternative for the Giallorossi.

However, the negotiations are not straightforward. Juventus had also been in contact with the player’s agents, but then slowed down the deal due to the high salary demands from both Al-Shabab and Carrasco himself.

At the moment, Roma is also focusing its attention on other players, such as Robinio Vaz and Donny Malen, as well as Zirkzee and Raspadori, but has not ruled out the possibility of a move for Carrasco should his financial situation improve.
