Former Roma man Riccardo Calafiori is reportedly eager to return to his boyhood club.

The young defender’s incredible evolution under Thiago Motta has made him the target of several top clubs in the country.

Despite helping Bologna achieve a historic Champions League qualification, Calafiori seems destined to leave the Felsinei at the end of the season.

According to ForzaRoma.info, among the many teams that have contacted him, including Juventus and Milan, Calafiori seems to have put Roma on top of the list of his preferred destinations for the summer.

Calafiori is relying on his rapport with Daniele De Rossi to play an important role in his potential return to the capital.

Bologna are currently asking for €25 million to let go of him but the fee is likely to increase in the coming weeks. Roma would only be able to afford him in case of Evan Ndicka’s sale.
