Roma defender Roger Ibanez is nearing an important personal milestone in tonight’s highly anticipated Derby della Capitale.
The Brazilian centreback – reports Corriere dello Sport – will likely feature from the start tonight and thus complete his 100th Serie A appearance.
Ibanez will seek to improve his record in Rome derbies – so far, the player has appeared in five of them, losing three times and winning only twice.
Over the course of the season, Ibanez has proven to be a reliable presence in Roma’s backline, accompanied by the likes of Chris Smalling and Gianluca Mancini.
