Roma continues to work to strengthen their defense and has set their sights on Daniele Ghilardi of Verona.

As reported by Tuttosport, the Giallorossi have already reached an agreement with the player on a contract until 2030.

The sticking point now remains with Verona, who are asking for €12-13 million.

Roma are stuck at €9-10 million but are reportedly considering including a percentage of the player’s future resale value to unlock the deal.

The agreement is very close to being made, reports the newspaper.
