Roma are reportedly already thinking about extending Romelu Lukaku’s stay in the Italian capital.

The Belgian striker who signed with the Giallorossi on loan this summer is deemed the perfect marquee signing and long-term option for Roma who have struggled to find consistency in attack over the last few years.

For Mourinho, Lukaku’s extension is one of the primary conditions to extend his own stay in Rome.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma are keen on making use of Lukaku’s release clause at the end of the season.

Chelsea included a last-minute clause worth €37 million a sum which Roma will only be able afford in case if they qualify for Champions League or win the Europa League title.
