Roma also in the mix for Arnaud Kalimuendo

Roma are already looking to the January transfer window to solve their main problem: goalscoring.

Among the ideas taking shape at Trigoria is one involving Arnaud Kalimuendo, a 2002-born French striker from Nottingham Forest.

As Corriere dello Sport reports, the current situation is in their favor: on the one hand, Roma, struggling in attack; on the other, a highly talented centre-forward who is on the fringes of the English project.

Kalimuendo, a French international, scored 33 goals in the last two seasons with Rennes before moving to the Premier League, but has so far failed to establish himself in England.

Paid €30 million in the summer, the striker now represents a significant investment for Nottingham, where Lina Souloukou, the former CEO of the Giallorossi, also works.

For this reason, Roma is considering a loan with an option to buy: a sustainable solution for their coffers and also beneficial to the English club, which would avoid devaluing a player with a contract until 2030.
