Roma are being linked with a new player from Germany’s second division, the Zweite Bundesliga.
According to the latest report by Sky Sport DE journalist Florian Plettenberg, Schalke 04 youngster Assan Ouedraogo is one of the top prospects in Europe and has drawn Roma’s interest, among many other clubs.
In fact, Plettenberg reports that Roma have been scouting the 17-year-old player along with the likes of Bayern Munich, Eintracht Frankfurt, Leipzig and Atalanta.
Despite his young age, Ouedraogo has already collected 14 appearances for Schalke this season.
Plettenberg reports that for the time being Bayern are leading the race for Ouedraogo, having offered him a long-term contract until 2029.
