Roma and Milan have been working on a swap deal involving Artem Dovbyk and Santiago Gimenez for some time.
The Mexican initially remained unconvinced about the move to the Giallorossi, but his position has changed in the last few hours.
The deal seemed close to being finalized, but the two clubs are still negotiating the terms: Massara wants a buy option or a permanent deal, while Tare is pushing for a loan swap.
According to Gianlucadimarzio.com, the deal remains complicated, but the parties involved will meet again in the coming hours to find the key to securing the deal.
Both forwards are currently out of the two teams’ plans.
