For yet another season, Gianluca Mancini has proven himself a pillar of the Giallorossi squad.
Gian Piero Gasperini can’t live without him, and in his Roma’s recent matches, he’s moved him to the right in the three-man defense, allowing him to attack on multiple occasions.
“I’m not just saying this: I enjoy playing this style of football, the way we’re playing now. Then, as I said before, on the right, left, center, midfield: wherever the coach puts me,” the Giallorossi defender stated before Rangers-Roma.
For the coach, as well as for Roma itself, Mancini is indispensable.
For this very reason, the club is planning his contract renewal.
According to journalist Nicolò Schira, Roma is considering extending the player’s contract until June 30, 2029.
This would mean, if he signs, he could enter his tenth year in the capital.
