Despite the arrivals of Robinio Vaz and Malen, Roma continues to move forward.

Massara’s goal is to give Gasperini a complete squad capable of challenging for fourth place.

After strengthening the attacking line, the Giallorossi management is now looking for a reinforcement on the left, currently considered the team’s weakest point.

Kōstas Tsimikas hasn’t been entirely convincing in terms of performance, while Angeliño is dealing with some medical issues that have limited his use and is still far from full fitness.

For this reason, Gasperini has moved Wesley to the left, but the coach’s goal is to move him back to the right, where he has shown his full potential.

According to today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Massara has reportedly intensified contact with the entourage of Niccolò Fortini, the 2006-born left-back currently owned by Fiorentina.

Roma is reportedly ready to offer around €15 million to convince Fiorentina to sell Fortini. The player is currently tied to the Tuscan club by a contract expiring in 2027.

Despite this, the Giallorossi’s intention is clear: to close the deal as early as next week, avoiding auctions and bids that could further increase the player’s price.

Roma has accelerated negotiations in recent hours to avoid a possible involvement of Juventus, who have been conducting an inquiry regarding the player in recent days.
