Roma has approved the transfer of Tommaso Baldanzi to Hellas Verona.
Gian Piero Gasperini called up the 22-year-old against Pisa, but his departure is also supported by the coach.
The terms have been agreed: a loan with an option to buy set at €8 million.
The only sticking point is his salary, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport. The player earns €1.5 million, a figure Hellas Verona cannot afford.
The clubs are discussing ways to have part of his salary covered by the Giallorossi.
