The future of Renato Sanches remains unclear as the Portuguese midfielder could be headed back to Paris Saint-Germain in January.
Sanches’ most recent appearance – a humiliating 20-minute cameo against Bologna which saw him being subbed off with near immediate effect by Roma boss Jose Mourinho – could be the final nail in his time at Roma.
According to Leggo, the capital club are already evaluating the possibility of sending Sanches back to PSG. First, however, they must find an agreement regarding the termination of his loan.
In his place, Roma would then try and give a more significant role to some of the team’s younger players including Pagano and Pisilli.
