Over the past 24 hours the name of Frederic Massara has been increasingly linked with a return to the Italian capital.
The executive worked for the Giallorossi in 2016 and recently left Stade Rennais.
However, another possibility is the internal solution of Federico Balzaretti.
As reported by Sky Sport, Roma are evaluating the possibility of promoting Balzaretti not too long after he joined the club as part of Ghisolfi’s staff.
A decision is expected to be made in the coming hours.
