Roma is looking to Brazilian football to strengthen the squad to make available to Gian Piero Gasperini for the upcoming season.

In particular, the Giallorossi appear locked in on two Flamengo players.

According to La Repubblica, the targets are Wesley and Léo Ortiz.

Wesley, a right back, has been liked by Gasperini since his time at Atalanta and has already given his approval to the club from the capital but an agreement needs to be reached with Roma, who are aiming to close the deal soon.

Léo Ortiz, on the other hand, is a central defender with an Italian passport and has a contract with the Brazilians until 2028.

They both had the opportunity to show off at the Club World Cup: Flamengo reached the round of 16 and then lost to Bayern Munich.
