Lorenzo Pellegrini has reportedly Roma worried ahead of the upcoming match with Genoa at the Marassi.

The Giallorossi skipper is said to have sustained a muscle injury while on international duty with Luciano Spalletti’s team.

The extent of this injury is yet to be determined, but Roma seem to be growing concerned, reports Corriere dello Sport.

The club are waiting for the national team to communicate the results of the first tests that the player has undergone.

His availability for the match in Genoa is now questionable, with Pisilli looking to take Pellegrini’s place in Roma’s starting line-up.
