Roma are hoping that negotiations with Al Hilal for Angelino’s exit will pick up once the Club World Cup is over.

As revealed by Il Tempo, the deal is still possible.

The two clubs had reached an agreement on the basis of 23 million euros plus 3 million in bonuses.

However, the Saudi club chose to wait until the end of the Club World Cup: the number one target remains Theo Hernandez, who however is not too convinced about leaving Milan.

As a result, Roma must focus on other player sales in the meantime in order to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations.
