A new name has been linked with Roma.
According to TUTTOmercatoWEB.com, in recent weeks there have been contacts between Roma and Matteo Darmian, a defender released after several positive seasons with Inter.
Several clubs were interested in him—such as Parma and Torino—but none have made a move.
He represents an opportunity that could be seized if needed, especially since he would be a sure bet without a significant financial outlay: he would accept a one-year contract at a price that’s quite affordable for a club like Roma.
Darmian would be a stopgap solution after the Salah-Eddine’s departure.
