Roma maintain their interest in out-of-favor Bayern midfielder Marcel Sabitzer and Lyon playmaker Houssem Aouar as the first week of the transfer window winds to a close.
According to Corriere dello Sport, both players are considered ideal replacements for Henrikh Mkhitaryan who joined Inter earlier in the month.
Roma are in contact with the entourage of Aouar and continue to inquire about Sabitzer’s availability based on Bayern Munich’s demands.
In the meantime, the Giallorossi are also expected to pick up talks with Sassuolo for Davide Frattesi in order to finalize the deal involving the former Primavera player.
