Roma have overtaken Milan in the race for Gladbach midfielder Manu Koné.
The Giallorossi are ready to advance their first bid for the 23-year-old midfielder who is the club’s main priority in the final hours of the transfer window.
As reported by Filippo Biafora of Il Tempo, Roma have an agreement in place with the player for a contract worth €3 million per season.
Gladbach are asking for €20 million – a fee Roma would only be able to pay if Tammy Abraham leaves the club in time.
The English striker is in fact nearing a move to Milan. His departure will enable Roma to go for Koné.
