The connection between Roma and Bologna remains heated in these final days of the transfer window.

According to an excerpt reported by Il Resto del Carlino, the Giallorossi, along with several German clubs, are reportedly in the running to land Remo Freuler, two days before his contract expires.

And it’s not just the Swiss midfielder. Gian Piero Gasperini’s Roma have also reportedly been in contact with Castro and Ferguson, two other prospects being closely monitored by the Rossoblu.

Marash Kumbulla, returning from a loan spell at Mallorca and considered for an exit from the Giallorossi, could also be included in the discussions between the two clubs.

Bologna, however, is also interested in the young Ghilardi, a prospect who could become particularly interesting should Lucumí depart.
