Roma are very interested in Jonathan David who has been linked with the Giallorossi as their big marquee signing of the summer.

The Canadian star attacker of French club Lille has made it clear that he aspires to play elsewhere and, as a result of this request, numerous clubs have lined up ahead of a busy summer.

Among these clubs is Roma who is reportedly looking to strengthen their attack in light of Romelu Lukaku’s imminent return to Chelsea.

According to Corriere dello Sport, David is Roma’s dream signing and a lot will depend on their Champions League qualifications due to the costs involved in a potential involving the 24-year-old.

After a round of preliminary inquiries, Lille fixed David’s pricetag at €50 million in spite of the fact that his contract is bound to expire next year.
