Gian Piero Gasperini is still awaiting the offensive reinforcements needed to complete his attacking lineup this winter transfer window.

The management continues to work on several fronts: a definitive response is awaited from Giacomo Raspadori, while negotiations are underway with Aston Villa for Donyell Malen.

However, there are plenty of alternatives, and the possibility of Mathys Tel has not faded.

The 2005-born player is considered one of the most exciting talents on the European scene.

Fresh from his time at Bayern Munich and currently at Tottenham, he is reportedly seeking greater consistency.

The Frenchman’s goal is to earn more playing time in order to earn a call-up to his national team for this summer’s World Cup.

The option under consideration—as reported by RMC Sport—is a loan move, a solution to which Tel himself has reportedly been open.

However, at the moment, Tottenham do not appear willing to part with the player. Furthermore, there is significant competition for the young French striker.

Villarreal are following the situation with interest, as are several Ligue 1 clubs, ready to make a move should the London club decide to reconsider their position.
