Roma are reportedly interested in another Salzburg player after launching talks for Gourna-Douath’s permanent stay.
According to today’s edition of Leggo, the capital club are planning to hold discussions for Salzburg striker Karim Konate.
The 21-year-old suffered an ACL injury in November, but is now ready to get back on the pitch.
Having scored 33 goals in 64 appearances for Salzburg, Konate’s value is estimated at 25 million euros.
The Giallorossi are looking for additional attacking reinforcements and Konate appears to fit the profile that Gian Piero Gasperini, Roma’s soon-to-be coach, requested during early discussions with the club.
