Roma have shown interest in Destiny Udogie.
The name of the Italian full-back currently playing for Tottenham is in the spotlight at Roma, who are planning changes across the flanks, not just in attack.
The Giallorossi are not only targeting the 2002-born player, but also Inter’s Luis Henrique.
The Brazilian is a popular prospect due to his versatility, as he could also fill the attacking roles in Gian Piero Gasperini’s squad.
Initial discussions with the London club are underway regarding the Spurs player. Currently, there is disagreement over the transfer fee.
As reported by Sportitalia, Roma would be willing to take Udogie on only if Tottenham were open to a loan with an option to buy. At the moment, however, the Londoners are not open to this option.
Tony D’Amico will negotiate with the English club to try to lower their demands and secure a “yes” to the deal the Giallorossi prefer.
The sporting director is also evaluating other options, but it seems the Roman club intends to offer Gasperini another fifth. Even in this case, it cannot be ruled out that the club is working behind closed doors on a yet-undisclosed name
