Legendary Roma defender and club captain Aldair recently praised fellow Brazilian centreback Roger Ibanez for his progress with Roma ever since Jose Mourinho was appointed manager in 2021.
Since then, Ibanez received his first call-up with the national team, and Aldair envisions a bright future for the young defender.
“He has grown a lot,” Aldair told reporters at the Dabliu Beach Arena in Rome.
“I’m sure he can carve out a leading role in the coming years, both with Roma and Brazil. I wish him the best.”
