Roma legend and former club captain Giuseppe Giannini was asked about the Giallorossi’s summer transfer business.
In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Giannini commented on the prospect of acquiring Renato Sanches on loan from Paris Saint-Germain.
“I think Roma are building a midfield that is good both in terms of quantity and quality,” Giannini told the Italian newspaper.
“Renato Sanches has strength and technique, but a lot will depend on his physical condition. It will be necessary to hope that the injuries that have tormented him in recent years will abandon him for the duration of this upcoming season.”
