Roma’s flanks, at this stage of the transfer market, are a work in progress.

Wesley and Zeki Celik are the certainties, but while the former is a firm fixture for the future, there are several doubts regarding the latter.

As Il Messaggero reports, there has been no progress in the Turkish full-back’s renewal. His contract expires in 2026, and the player awaits a raise from the club after turning down their first offer.

In the background, Celik is Juventus. The same team that is pursuing Niccolò Fortini. The Fiorentina left-back has moved away from Roma and is now interested in the Bianconeri.

In the event of Kostas Tsimikas’ early return to Liverpool, Roma could pursue Joaquin Seys.

The Belgian player from Brugge, who can play both right-back and left-back, remains a live possibility for the Giallorossi.
