Sources from Germany claim that Weigl is among the names Roma are considering for this transfer window.
According to Bild, the 26-year-old wants a move away from Benfica and is open to a new experience in Italy.
Milan are also tracking Weigl as their negotiations for Renato Sanches continue to drag on.
Last season, Weigl concluded Benfica’s campaign with 2 goals and 3 assists across 29 league appearances.
